Video #1: Introduction

Alright, listen up!

When your 10th grade English teacher told you that you could be anything you want if you just work hard enough and don’t give up, she did NOT mean for you to end up on someone’s YouTube fitness channel lookin’ a hot mess!

To help you avoid that I’m going to teach you how to avoid silly, highly ineffective theatrics. You have to be careful with machines. You have to adjust them, so that they fit you specifically. If you don’t, they can put you into positions or force you to work from angles that can actually increase your risk of injury. So keep checking in. Each video will focus on a different body part, using exercises on a machine.

What to Expect from a Personal Trainer

Personal training is not about perfection—it’s about getting started. A good trainer meets you where you are. They’ll modify movements, scale intensity, and guide you with patience. Worried about being judged? You won’t be. Trainers work with all types of people: beginners, older adults, people with injuries, and those just starting their fitness journey. Everyone starts somewhere. Your first session is a fresh start, not a finish line.
