Dymatize ISO 100 Whey Protein Powder Isolate

Let’s be real: Lots of these whey powders are flat out nasty. I have tried so many, and this brand is the most pleasant and the purest. It mixes well, and the flavor isn’t too sweet or too chalky. This is the one I have preferred for a few years now, and I have made great gains using it. Remember that most of the work in fitness is nutrition, so be sure you’re feeding your gains!

Quality over quantity

There are a variety of ways of isolating the protein from milk, and some are better at removing the lactose (milk sugar) and fat. Dymatize uses hydrolysis to break the milk down into various constituents before evaporating the moisture and filtering out the larger sugars and fats to leave behind a very pure whey protein. Like most whey protein supplements, this already includes Brach Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs), so you don’t need to add any more to your post-workout shake. If you want to use more BCAAs beforehand, you might consider using an isolated powder. This way you don’t get the extra calories before your workout. If you’re trying to gain weight, that might not be as much of a concern; however, each 25g serving contains 100 calories, so if you are being mindful of calories, don’t use too much whey.

If you are eating correctly, working hard, and getting enough sleep you might find you don’t need to supplement with protein to make progress. However, if you are not adding muscle even with this protein supplement, you might consider making your own muscle building stack. I provided the recipe for it in this blog entry. You can find all the components for it here.

I would also suggest that you spend the extra money on this whey. Yes, it does cost more than others; however, it is also a superior product. I have not experienced the same type of gastro intestinal distress on this, and I feel much better quickly once I use it. This powder also doesn’t have any strange after-flavors. I have been using it since 2012, and I love it. I also suggest you use The Nutri Ninja blender to mix this powder into your smoothies.  Purchase the Nutri Ninja on Amazon.
